What a celebration!

I have been busy at the State Assembly last week and haven't found the time to update my blog on the events happening in Subang Jaya. Below is a short summary of some activities with the residents. More updates to come!
Retirement planning talk organised by my office for the residents

Participants at the Lady Survival Skills organised by my office

Our special ladies with Capt Bala, the speaker of the Lady Survival Skills seminar

Hari Raya & Deepavali celebration with the residents of USJ 11/3

Cheque presentation to the representatives of mosques and suraus for Ramadhan month

Hari Raya open house organised by the surau at Lagoon Perdana in PJS 9. The residents there just received their brand new multi purpose hall. I am glad because now the residents can have more community events there.

Hari Raya open house organised by Jawatankuasa Penduduk Zon 4 at Angsana flats in USJ 1

Meeting the residents of Indah Court at the Hari Raya open house in PJS 11

My husband and I had a pleasant afternoon chat with residents and members of Surau Al-Muttaqun at USJ 12
Together with the committee members and children of Masjid Al-Mukminun in USJ 2

Having a light moment with the young ladies of Masjid Al-Mukminun

My office and our volunteers organised a special treat for the orphans and single mothers in my constituency. Rohana Jalil made a special appearance and sang for all of us. Thank you Rohana!

We had a wonderful time with the children and single mothers. A big thank you to all volunteers who made this event a memorable one!
