LRT delayed to 2013?

This was featured in Malay Mail on 30 January 2009. You can read more about it here. Alternatively, you may visit Transit (Klang Valley)'s website and read more on the comments by TRANSIT Advisor En Moaz Yusof Ahmad. My office has yet to receive any update from Syarikat Prasarana Nasional Bhd (SPNB) via MPSJ. I will keep all residents posted once I hear from them.

Dear Hannah,

Thanks for the updated info.

However, I believe the people in Subang has had enough for the delay of the LRT implementation. Government has announced that Public Transportation will be one of their main agenda in the Budget 2009 and yet we have to see anyhting comes out of it. Now, we are talking of stimulus package launched by the government and again the same agenda been mentioned. But to dissapointment, we are yet to see any light at the end of tunnel. I hope you once again could help to end misery for the people of Subang in urging our Government to at least give us a definite date to begin the LRT project.

Thank you! And hope to hear from you soon. Long Live to Hannah Yeoh!

Hi! Hannah,

I hope we could start a poll at your site here on all the matters discussed. In that way, it could works as a petition in showing the people's support for your action and hope to assist you in urging the relevant parties to speed their work.

Cheers!

Thanks for the update. Pls keep us, the residents of USJ posted. I hope this is not true, the country urgently needs the public transport before another spike in fuel price.
You are doing a good job. Pls keep it up. Get some rest and dont over burn yourself. We need you for a long time to come in Subang.

Hi Hannah,

Thanks for the update also.

I am really not surprised that
our govt. wants to delay such a
project. Tt is a bad news to residents around here, even though some may not like such LRT to be
built here. Overall, it is
a project for majority. I hope
that more people will support
that.

This country is truely lacking
behind in many areas, if compared
with other neighbour countries
around us.

Hope that Pakatan Rakyat will
take control of this country soon.

God bless.

Alan.
USJ 8 Resident.
