Soil test for LRT & traffic studies by IKRAM

Soil test for proposed LRT route is being carried out in Subang Jaya. I have been waiting for months for an official reply from Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad via MPSJ since the LRT briefing in September and I have requested MPSJ to notify my office for any update(s) on this issue. I have received none. The Ministry of Transport should be more forthcoming about the LRT plans in Subang Jaya.

I have been receiving complaints about the closure of lanes in the morning rush hour by traffic policemen from Subang Jaya leading into the Federal Highway. This has resulted in massive backlog in USJ. I have conveyed this to the traffic police several times. They have taken note of it but would not change their current plan without studying it first. I don't understand this, but traffic police is not obliged to take instructions from me. I have conveyed the problems faced by the people here to them, now it's their duty to respond accordingly.

As for traffic studies by IKRAM and MPSJ on Persiaran Tujuan, I have repeatedly informed MPSJ on the severity of the problem and attended Infrastructure Committee Meetings at MPSJ to convey my dissatisfaction about the delay of these studies. I was at a press conference yesterday highlighting this problem. Read about it here.

These are only some of the many difficulties faced by the new state administration with federal agencies and some civil servants. If only all civil service agencies are as effective in all their duties as the Perak State Secretary when he chased the Pakatan MB out from his office in less than a day!

That is the price Pakatan govt has to pay if they don't get rid of those blokes put there by the UMNO administration. This goes the same for all YDPs. They can smile in front of you, but belakang.....jaga. Follow what Penang is doing. Change all the head of the MPPP and MPSJ (Sebarang Jaya).

Hai Hannah regarding the proposed LRT which I think not proposed anymore it should be more of a confirm route. Why all of a sudden the whole thing came back after the briefing? Actually the route is stupid it should be the proposal that goes through along the drain between 14 &15 and go straight to pyramid then turn to Monash and then to summit and usj. What do you think???

Well, you are right. The morning 7.45am traffic situation from USJ2 to Persiaran Tujuan is becoming impossible. We cannot get out into Tujuan. Before the "long-term", "perfect" solution come, can we have a temporary solution to help us. Or are you/them waiting for a fight to break out in the morning? before you/they take action? Can we make the Tujuan traffic favour USJ2 residents going to Federal H'way and Sunway.

The only hope that this country can be totally different is the time Pakatan Rakyat takes over the Federal Government power!

Next election, let's us make that happen, especially those who are in East Malaysia!

God Bless M'sia.

i agree with romeo61. change all the heads. i believe your predecessor is still on the boards of many schools in subang jaya while perhaps u are'nt even invited to sch functions (but that's under federal until GE13). the BN govt and civil servants think to frustrate the PR govt by putting road blocks. the rakyat are not stupidlah.(at least i hope not!)Keep up the good work and please inform your PR reps that the rakyat will throw stones at them if they hop! still so angry.....

Dear YB

You are right that if civil service agencies' efficiency can match up with that Perak State Secretary IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION, Malaysia will become such a wonderful country. Unfortunately that efficiency has always been displayed at the wrong place which is not benefiting the rakyat & wasting a lot of public fund as well.

Today I read that in Selangor, every police has to serve 800 people, meaning not enough lah. Then why send so many to PJ candle vigil, arrest Anwar, disturb some awareness activities & PR activities etc while practising double standards in UMNO activities, especially the recent UMNO’s protests shouting for loyalty to the Sultan. Don’t get me wrong, I do respect the Sultan, and definitely more than these shouting clowns.

Every time I read about UMNO protests news, I had mixed feeling...irritated, amused, annoyed, pity the protestors...do they know or not just not long ago, UMNO did the same thing to our Agong, the Sultan of Terengganu. In fact it’s UMNO who started the Perak crisis using questionable tricks that landed the Sultan Of Perak & the royal family in trouble & risk suffering their good reputation.

Every shouting is a slap back to their own face. Were they too stupid to understand this or were they hoping that the rakyat would be too stupid to understand this and would buy their acting ? Honestly, not just disgusting, it's amazing & sad too, such incurable stupidity that is ruining our beloved country, especially among them an OXFORD guy & Dr so & so.

1. I agree with romeo61 that the root problem is the YDP. He's obviously an UMNO man...

2. While the attitude of the police is really sad (priorities are sooooo wrong), do note that MPSJ controls the traffic light timing, and thus, you don't need traffic cops to ease congestion during peak hours. Simple automation and a control center at MPSJ would do the job, and the price is not too expensive.

HELP!!! PLS....

The traffic in USJ is really crazy nowadays. I believe you'll have seen many great suggestions from all the comments here. I hope you can push for either one of it.
