Gotong-royong by SS12 residents

Recently, the residents of SS12, Subang Jaya got together to do a gotong-royong in their neighbourhood. It was very encouraging to see a big crowd, both young and old coming out very early in the morning to clean up their park.

Children doing gotong-royong - CHANGE has come!

I hope more resident groups will emulate this effort and organise community events like this to strengthen ties amongst neighbours. MPSJ councillor for Zone 1 Theresa Ratnam was also present together with MPSJ and Alam Flora. Syabas to all involved!

If dengue fever is such a epidemic, why not do a research on the breeding of mosquitoes in malaysian homes ie percentages of the mosquitoes are breeded in drains,in septic tanks or garden leaves. In this way, we can reduce the extent of the dengue fever by destroying the breeding grounds
