2Malaysia

No amount of sloganeering and money-throwing can salvage BN's concept of "1Malaysia" any longer. The federal government has officially endorsed the practice of unequal treatment of East & West Malaysia by its decision to allow non-Muslims in East Malaysia to use the word "Allah", but a ban on the usage for non-Muslims in Peninsular Malaysia. No government should be allowed to use "Allah" to divide this nation and its people. This new ruling clearly shows that the "Allah" issue is a political issue championed by the BN government and not one about religion, race, language or culture. It is a ruling aimed at protecting the vote bank in East Malaysia, and shoring up the depleting BN power base in the Peninsular.

The 1Malaysia concept has failed miserably with this unequal ruling : 1 for you and 0 for the other.

It should be 0Malaysia!

is not wrong that we love the great names of History. is these people who wants the word allah just meant for them. they don't want other religions to use it. i feel they are very selfish.

This is so absurd. Non-muslims in East Malaysia can use the word "Allah" but not non-muslims in West Malaysia?? Is there a difference between East Malaysian and West Malaysian non-muslims? I would like to know what that difference is. And Hannah isn't trying to politicise religion. She's just questioning the biasness of such a decision.

It is more than a question of usage of the word Allah. I think UMNO has a hidden agenda. I believe UMNO see Christianity as a threat. Christianity throught its pulpits and organisation is a force that UMNO fears.

UMNO & it's ministers are making themselves as the laughing stock, not just locally, but internationally. They more they talk about Allah, the more people know they don't know what they are talking about. A bunch of jokers, international standard ! Memalukan Malaysia saja !

What Kamal (ano 5.43pm) said is very true. This posting is nothing about 'Politicized Religious'.

It only stated a fact that no one could deny. No thanks to our PM & his team who have turned Malaysia into a laughing stock, which is getting more ridiculous by the days.

This has got nothing to do with Islam, it's just a political game. I pray that Malaysian Muslims could see clearly and stay away from this dirty game, please don't fall into the trap and tarnish the good name of Islam.
